Royal Canin® Breed Health Nutrition® Pug Adult Dry Dog Food is 100% complete and balanced nutrition perfectly created specially for pugs and their special needs.
Exclusive Kibble - The Pug is a good example of the "brachycephalic" jaw type with a very short muzzle. This breed has a large round head with a short square muzzle. His characteristic jaw and very thick lips make it difficult for him to pick up his food. The Pug formula's "cloverleaf" shaped kibbles are designed to make it easier for the Pug to pick up and encourage him to chew.
Healthy Skin - The skin reflects the dog's state of health. Appropriate food plays an important part in maintaining the quality of the skin. The exclusive formula of PUG Adult helps support the skin's role as a barrier with an exclusive complex of nutrients and helps maintain skin health (EPA & DHA).
Muscle Tone - This formula helps maintain the Pug's muscle tone with an appropriate protein content. Contains L-Carnitine.
Ideal Weight - Excess weight gain can affect the health of the Pug. An appropriately balanced food is therefore necessary for their health. This formula helps maintain the Pug's ideal weight.

It is recommended that you keep your dog in ideal body condition and not allow your dog to become overweight. The exact amount of food your dog requires will need to be adjusted according to age, activity and environment. But a good place to start is with these guidelines for an average, active, adult dog fed once daily.
Remember, when changing your dog's food or diet allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your dog’s current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more of the new until you are feeding the new food exclusively. This gradual transition is important and will help to avoid any dietary upsets.
Always provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily.
For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly.
