Apply 1 cm of the sterile ophthalmic ointment directly onto the cornea or inside the conjunctival sac.
Massage the eyelid lightly to achieve a proper distribution of the product.
Repeat every 12 hours for for as long as directed by the acting veterinarian.
Precautions - Warnings
In rare cases the application of ophthalmic ointment may be associated with local irritation, as evidenced by periocular redness, eyelid spasm and excessive rubbing. Because the eyes of dogs with QCS often show considerable inflammation, it will be difficult to determine if local irritation is due to ointment. If this irritation persists for more than 7 days, hypersensitivity to a component of the product should be suspected, it is advised to re-evaluate therapeutic options.
Do not use in pregnant females, nor in cases of suspicion of mycotic processes.
